This policy outlines the conditions for cancelling inspection bookings and refund terms for payments made on www.autofay.ae .

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your inspection booking and receive a full refund under the following conditions:

• Cancellation before the inspection starts: You may cancel your booking at any time before the inspector starts inspecting the vehicle and receive a full refund.
• After inspection has started: Once the inspector has started inspecting the vehicle, the booking cannot be cancelled or refunded.
• Location fee: The refund covers both the package price and the per-emirate location fee (if any) in full, under the same cancellation conditions.

Non-Refundable Cases

• Completed inspection services - the service has been rendered
• Cancellation after the inspector has started the actual inspection
• Customer or vehicle not present at the specified location upon inspector arrival

Refund Process

1. Request Cancellation: Email support@autofay.ae or contact us via WhatsApp with your booking number and reason for cancellation
2. Review: We verify the booking status and whether the inspection has started
3. Refund Issued: Approved refunds are processed within 3 business days

Refund Methods

We accept Visa and Mastercard cards (credit and debit), Apple Pay and Google Pay through Stripe, and refunds go back to the same card or wallet used to pay:

• Credit/Debit Card (Visa, Mastercard): Refunded to the original card. The time for the refund to appear on your statement depends on your bank.
• Apple Pay / Google Pay: Refunded through the same wallet to the card linked to it that you paid with.

All refunds are processed through Stripe , our payment gateway. We do not store any payment data - all card and wallet details are held by Stripe only.

Refund Timeline

• Cancellation Request: Any time before the inspection starts
• Request Review: Same business day
• Refund Processing: 3 business days after approval
